SEO

An Issue With the Industry
SEO work is absolutely required in the current day and age. The problem is that marketing agencies are exploiting this fact. Knowing that there is a huge demand for SEO work, many marketing agencies are starting to offer packages where you get things like 5 keywords targeted, 10 backlinks generated per week, etc, etc. And what sucks about that is that these minuscule numbers will probably land you on the second page of Google. No one reads the second page of Google, unfortunately.
This is why we have made it our goal to rank our clients’ websites #1 on Google above all their competitors. A goal like this is essential because having such a goal ensures that we hit numbers that can get our clients ranked the highest on Google. Furthermore, we keep our clients updated on these key statistics through weekly and monthly reports.
SEO Basics
The 3 main types of SEO.

Off-Page
Strategies that improve a website’s authority and credibility, such as backlink building and social media marketing.

Technical
Optimising a website’s backend elements (site speed, crawlability, etc.) to improve overall performance.

On-Page
Ensuring proper keyword usage in the content of the website and keeping the meta tags optimal.
What is SEO?
SEO stands for search engine optimisation, which basically means ranking your website higher on Google. As mentioned in the graphic above there are 3 main types of SEO: on-page, off-page, and technical. On-page SEO is basically ensuring that we use keywords, that customers would search on Google, on the content of our website. This makes Google automatically rank us higher when those keywords are entered.
Now off-page work is very boring but also very effective. We must make sure that other websites have our website’s link written in them somewhere. We can do this through a very, very repetitive process called backlink building. This builds trust and credibility with Google which can make our website rank higher.
Finally, technical SEO is what the web developers take care of. It’s stuff like ensuring the site speed is fast, that the website is mobile-friendly, and that the website has a high crawlability rating. (you can research that if you want, but I’m pretty sure you don’t want to – leave all that boring stuff to us 😂)
